Is it fair to charge ‘Pet Rent’? What do you think? Our company, Avalon Realty & Oaktree Management has never charged Pet Rent. According to a recent article by Sue Manning of the Associated Press, a monthly rental payment of $10 to $50 is ...quickly becoming the norm. We do have some property owners that will not allow a pet and this may be a way to get them to take a second look as the additional ‘pet rent’ could be used to offset potential damages. Talk about equality! Dog owners are asked for twice as much as cat owners. Hmmm……….
