Liberace Mansion

Liberace Mansion

Las Vegas, Nevada -- Martyn Ravenhill, is a lifelong fan of Liberace and the performing arts. He bought the neglected 14,939 square foot Liberace mansion in August of 2013 after seeing a YouTube video of the home in foreclosure. He flew from England to Las Vegas the next day. He is in the process of restoring the 1962, 2 bedroom, 10 bathroom home near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to its former authentic grandeur at an estimated cost of $1.5 to $2 million. Martyn Ravenhill believes in giving back to the community as well as giving back to today's youth, which is why he has made a sizeable donation of an undisclosed amount to the Liberace Foundation. The Liberace Foundation is an exceptional organization that aims to help students in Southern Nevada to pursue their dreams in the creative and performing arts. The foundation has done this through artistic exposure and scholarship assistance for over 30 years now, and has awarded in excess of 2,700 scholarships. Mr. Ravenhill has also pledged ALL proceeds from the first 5,000 copies of his new book "The Social Stockmarket" to also be donated to this Foundation.
